About Amy Stephan

Run the Race is an audacious event that brings together individuals passionate about the mission of Living Water Ministries. Some of these individuals engage in a 200-mile relay race between Traverse City, MI and Muskegon, MI, while other individuals equally participate in alternative ways. We all, however, are raising money to make a difference in the lives of young people and I really hope you might assist me in this effort with a gift. There is nothing like the camp experience. I grew up a camp director's daughter and from the age of 5 was surrounded by the nature and ever revolving door of campers and summer staff. I worked in various camp staff positions starting at a young age, was a camper and had the joyous opportunity to send my kids to camp for many years as well. Campfires, outdoor church services and camp songs were a huge part of my faith formation.  Relationships and memories were made ranging from week-long to life-long, all built on the foundation of God's grace and love surrounded by the beauty of his creation. Everyone should have this experience. Your gift creates financial accessibility for camp families, welcoming community for campers and the ability for Living Water Ministries to continue to offer life-changing, innovative programming for years to come!
